There is a lot of detrimental news, more and more postal services stopped sending parcels to USA. I am not sure about the tariffs and where they are heading and how they will affect sending of card decks to USA which is naturally the largest markets. Also, I am not really well known in the gaming industry especially Trading Card Games. I don't have an active X-Twitter account and I don't have a great instagram account. What if my Kickstarter fail? There are China Golden Weeks, Christmas seasons that will affect the Kickstarter and fulfilment of the kickstarter project. Too many things to think of. But I think, the best way is not to think and just start the first step. A baby step nonetheless.
Every creator who has ever launched something new has faced these doubts. Logistics, tariffs, timing, market demand—all of these are real challenges. Yet if I keep staring at the mountain, I may never take the first stride up the path. Starfall Catastrophe didn’t come to life overnight; it grew through drafts, sketches, prototypes, and long nights of refining ideas. So perhaps the Kickstarter should be approached in the same way: not as a giant leap, but as a series of smaller, achievable steps.
The truth is, no one is ever fully prepared. Markets shift, postal routes change, platforms evolve. But what remains constant is the value of creating something genuine and sharing it with the world. Even if the campaign falls short, I will have built the foundation—an audience, a community, and the proof that Starfall Catastrophe is more than just an idea on paper. That in itself is progress.
So here I stand at the edge of this journey: uncertain, yes, but also determined. Step one may be small, but it matters. And step two will come after, then step three, until eventually the path becomes clearer. Success or failure, the only real mistake would be never trying at all.
Doctor Boon, the first Hero is just a start, there is so many things I am thinking about for Ember Glow and so on. A lot of integrations to table top figures and strategic table games to nft blockchain powered interchange of cards. Just developing the story will be a long long effort which I really enjoy!
