It always looks easy when I see others launching their Kickstarter projects. But when it comes to doing it myself, the reality feels very different. There are so many moving parts to think about.
For example, the best day to launch a campaign is usually Tuesday, so I was considering September 9, 2025, with a one-month run. But then the timing chain sets in: Kickstarter takes around two weeks to release funds after a successful campaign. Printing will take another month. By the time fulfillment begins, it’s right in the middle of the Christmas rush—when shipping costs skyrocket and logistics become a nightmare.
So, it’s back to the drawing board. Careful planning is essential, not just for the campaign itself but for everything that comes after.
